In this chapter you learned about the different kinds of application models available in .NET and how ADO .NET fits into each. You learned about the difference between classic Windows applications, web applications, and XML Web Services. You also learned about the different strategies that you can use in each model to manipulate data. There is no hard-and-fast rule as to which strategy is better.
