Chapter 33. Scripting Mail
Mac
OS X installs a nifty email application called, aptly enough, Mail.
Like other email programs such as Eudora or Outlook Express, Mail
allows you to get and send email, set up various email accounts, and
format email messages in various ways. This chapter describes some of
the scripts you can already write, as well as some of the potentially
interesting classes that the Mail dictionary contains. Figure 33-1 shows what the Mail app looks like on the Mac
OS X desktop. Its icon is the second one from the left on the Dock
(in this graphic), which is the repository of file and program icons
arrayed along the bottom of the Mac screen.
