AvailabilityJavaScript 1.1; deprecated in JavaScript 1.2 Synopsiswindow.scroll(x, y) Arguments
DescriptionThe scroll( ) method moves the window's document within the window so the specified x- and y-coordinates of the document appear in the upper-left corner of the window. The X-coordinate increases to the right, and the Y-coordinate increases down the page. Thus, scroll(0,0) always places the top-left corner of the document in the top-left corner of the window. In JavaScript 1.2, the scrollTo( ) and scrollBy( ) methods are preferred over scroll( ). |
