This class provides a Component that can be used
to trigger a periodic event. It is similar to the
System.Threading.Timer class, in that it offers an
Interval between events (counted in milliseconds),
methods to Start( ) and Stop()
the timer (which are thin wrappers around the
Enabled property), and a Tick
event, which is raised when the interval is elapsed.
The major difference is that the timer event is guaranteed to occur
on the main UI thread, rather than coming in on an arbitrary thread,
so you can use it transparently in UI situations.
