#Type the following command on the terminal:
sudoedit /etc/gdm3/custom.conf

#which will open an editor. remove the #'s to Uncomment 
#the followin lines and save:

WaylandEnable=false
AutomaticLoginEnable = true
AutomaticLogin = user1

#Then restart your PC, then try to login remotely again.
